Ankang Media | On Duty During the Spring Festival – Staying Put to Ensure Water Safety in the City

2026-02-25

China Water Environment Group's Ankang Jiangnan Regenerated Water Plant undertakes the critical tasks of collecting, treating, and recycling domestic sewage for the area, operating around the clock year-round. During the Spring Festival, frontline staff remain steadfast in their posts, safeguarding urban water environments and ensuring citizens enjoy a clean, peaceful, and secure holiday through their dedicated efforts.

Wastewater treatment is crucial to people's well-being and the ecological environment. We must remain vigilant, especially during holidays. Although we cannot reunite with our families for the Spring Festival, staying at our posts to safeguard the city's water environment and ensure citizens can celebrate the New Year with peace of mind makes this duty meaningful and valuable.

Wang Yefei, Director of Ankang Jiangnan Reclaimed Water Plant of China Water Environment Group

During the Spring Festival, all domestic sewage treatment plants in the city operate 24 hours a day without interruption. The operating personnel stick to their posts, focus on strengthening the regular inspection of equipment and monitoring of water quality at all times, and make every effort to ensure that urban domestic sewage is effectively collected, comprehensively treated, discharged in compliance with standards, and scientifically utilized. We will use the strictest standards and most practical measures to safeguard the sustainable northward flow of clean water in the Yangtze River, providing solid livelihood guarantees for citizens to celebrate the Spring Festival.
