On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Germany, on May 14th, the China Germany Environmental Technology Innovation Center (WATCH e.V.) held a ribbon cutting ceremony at the German Water Association (DWA) exhibition area in IFAT Munich.
Dr. from the German Water Association- Ing. Christian Wilhelm warmly welcomes the Chinese delegation and recalls the first founding conference held in Aachen, Germany in April last year. He believes that there will be more opportunities for cooperation and broad market prospects in environmental protection equipment, technology certification, and other aspects between the two sides in the future.
Peng Yongzhen, an academician of the CAE Member and professor of Beijing University of Technology, said that "green" cooperation between China and Germany is the background. With a series of important activities such as the German Prime Minister's visit to China, China and Germany are increasingly close in the field of environment cooperation. The AOA and anaerobic ammonia oxidation processes jointly developed by us and China Water Environment Group have entered the practical engineering application verification stage and have a wide impact both domestically and internationally. German experts are welcome to visit China for inspection.
Hou Feng, Chairman of China Water Environment Group, stated that the group has maintained close and effective cooperation with Aachen University of Technology, PIA, and the German Water Association. In the future, the group hopes to strengthen the cooperation between China and Germany's partners in technology exchange, equipment exchange, and personnel training through the establishment of the Sino German Environmental Technology Innovation Center, promote trade and talent exchanges in the environmental field, and jointly promote sustainable development goals.
