Recently, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment announced the list of advanced models of "Beautiful China, I am an Actor" in 2024, and the Ankang Jiangnan Reclaimed Water Plant of China Water Environment Group was selected as one of the top ten open environmental protection facilities. Since the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and the Central Civilization Office promoted the implementation of the "Beautiful China, I am an Actor" Action Plan to Enhance Citizens' Ecological Civilization Awareness (2021-2025) in 2021, China Water Environment Group has been rated as one of the top ten open environmental protection facilities for four consecutive years.

The Ankang Jiangnan Reclaimed Water Plant of China Water Environment Group, which was awarded this evaluation, is the third batch of national environmental protection facilities open to the public and an excellent environmental protection facility open unit in Shaanxi Province. As one of the achievements in the construction of ecological civilization in Ankang, the Ankang Jiangnan Reclaimed Water Plant is of great significance in improving the water environment quality of Ankang city, enhancing the quality of urban living environment, and ensuring the stable and standard water quality of the Han River. The project adopts the group's distributed sinking regenerated water ecosystem technology, with a total treatment capacity of 60000 tons/day. It is the highest standard regenerated water plant in the upstream of the Han River, and 100% utilization of water resources.

This project is a water quality assurance project for the middle route of the South to North Water Diversion Project, providing a basic guarantee for Ankang to fulfill its political mission of "supplying clean water from one river to Beijing and Tianjin". High quality effluent serves as the ecological supplement water for the Han River and the surrounding municipal miscellaneous water, ensuring that the urban water environment quality of Ankang City has remained the first in Shaanxi Province for three years, becoming a beautiful business card of "Qinba Pearl, Ecological Health".

Since its completion, the project has always adhered to the concept of green, low-carbon and environmental protection, actively promoted the concepts of water conservation, love and protection, and organized public open activities year-round, receiving praise from multiple parties. In November 2022, it was rated as the exemplary organization of energy conservation and emission reduction in Shaanxi Province during the "13th Five Year Plan"; In December, selected for the 2022 Ecological Environment Protection Demonstration Project; In 2023, it was rated as one of the top ten public participation cases in the ecological environment of Ankang City.

As of the end of 2023, the group's top ten environmental protection facilities in Chengdu, Shanghai, Guiyang, and Ankang have organized more than 2500 batches of open activities, with a total reception of over 50000 people. The high level of public participation and significant results are typical and innovative, fully demonstrating the group's practical actions and achievements in ecological environment protection and co building a beautiful China, further enhancing the awareness of ecological civilization in the whole society, and demonstrating the purpose of the activities.
