As per the latest information from the Yunnan Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment, Erhai Lake in Dali has achieved Class II water quality for eight consecutive months after 14 years. The lake's transparency stands at 2.29 meters, the highest level in the past two decades. Currently, 24 out of 27 main rivers entering Erhai Lake boast Class II water quality.
