Chen Hao, the person in charge of the operation of Ankang Jiangnan Recycling Water Plant, told reporters that the water plant serves about 260000 people in the Jiangnan urban area of Ankang, and can process 52000 tons of sewage per day." The innovation of design concept lies in Ankang's care for water - Ankang is the core water source conservation area of the South to North Water Diversion Project. The Han River runs through the entire area from west to east, with a flow length of 340 kilometers, flowing through 7 counties and districts in the city.

"Ankang provides about 63% of the incoming water for the South to North Water Diversion Project," said the relevant person in charge of the Ankang Ecological Environment Bureau. With a combination of measures such as water pollution prevention and control, water environment protection, and water ecological restoration, the excellent rate of surface water quality in Ankang remains at 100%, and the water quality at the Shaanxi section remains stable at Class II.
