The operation of the reclaimed water plant is inevitably subject to unexpected situations. In the middle of the night last November, Li Yan received a sudden call from Taici Reclaimed Water Plant. Due to insufficient total nitrogen standard solution detection reagent content in the plant's online detection equipment, the equipment triggered an alarm.

Due to the inability of third-party maintenance company staff to arrive in a timely manner, Li Yan, who is proficient in the production of testing reagents, took the initiative to undertake this "emergency" task. She set off from home and rode her electric bike for half an hour to arrive at the scene, guiding the workers of the recycling water plant to prepare medication and complete the production of 500 milliliters of testing reagents. Quickly, 10 minutes later, the online equipment of the water plant automatically sampled and detected, and returned to normal, avoiding an accident of abnormal data upload.
Li Yan believes that the laboratory work at the testing station is very ordinary, but a lack of passion and dedication is not enough.
