In 2022, on the occasion of the annual parliamentary meeting (China’s LiangHui), ecological progress has once again attracted great attention from the whole society. Recently, a book named "Dialogue with Leading Cadres on Ecological Progress" has been published by the CPC Central Committed Party School Publisher and distributed all across China. Based on "Xi Jinping’s Ideology on Ecological Civilization", a topic of China’s innovation projects executed by the CPC Central Committed Party School, this book is regarded as one of the research findings.
How to realize the values of ecological products is the key to turn clear waters and green mountains into invaluable assets. The chief editor of the book, Professor Li Hongwei, also director of the Teaching and Research Section on Ecological Progress of the Central Party School, said that many regions has encountered bottlenecks on realizing the values of ecological products. To solve the problem, the Central Party School and the Teaching and Research Section on Ecological Progress conducted researches in six different regions. Through the analysis of typical cases, they have had a further explanation and solution on how to realize the values of ecological products based on the concept that "clear waters and green mountains are invaluable assets". "The realization of ecological products value is based on the premise of environmental protection. According to Li Hongwei, establishing and perfecting mechanisms for realizing values of ecological products is a key step to turn the concept that clear waters and green mountains are invaluable assets into practice. It is also of vital importance to the overall transformation of society and economy into green ones.
Through introduction of Distributed Underground Reclaimed Water Ecosystems, exemplary cases of turning ecological products into invaluable assets and innovative country-governing patterns, this book demonstrates how all parties in China work out to progress the value realization of ecological products.
