CCTV: Civil Engineering Works of Shanghai’s First Underground WWTP Completed

     On December 30, 2017, CCTV Live News reported on the completion of the civil engineering works of Shanghai Jiading District Nanxiang Underground WWTP built by CWEG. Nanxiang WWTP is the first underground WWTP in Shanghai, and also Shanghai’s first PPP project included in the first batch of Ministry of Finance demonstration PPP projects. The WWTP is built underground below an open ecological landscape park, and a science and education center. The project maximizes the utilization rates of underground space, ground area, and surrounding areas, and on the other hand, improves local environment, benefiting people living nearby.
