On January 29th, the 2026 Annual Work Conference and Outstanding Employee Commendation Conference of China Water Environment Group was held in Beijing. The theme of this conference is "Advancing under Pressure, Moving towards Innovation and Excellence". It systematically summarizes the work of 2025, scientifically analyzes the current situation and challenges, comprehensively deploys the tasks for 2026, consolidates development consensus, and strives to create a new situation for the development of the group in the 15th Five Year Plan period.

Group President Chen Ming presents the "2025 Annual Work Report and 2026 Work Requirements" report. He stated that in 2025, the group will move forward under severe circumstances, focusing on "one science, two innovations, and digital intelligence empowerment", steadily improving business performance, setting a new historical high in fees, and achieving important breakthroughs in market expansion. Significant achievements have been made in legal and regulatory governance, technological innovation, AI digital transformation, and the strategic planning for the 15th Five Year Plan. In 2026, we must adhere to the bottom line of cash flow safety, deepen the innovation of fee based bonds and financing, comprehensively promote cost reduction and efficiency improvement, accelerate breakthroughs in emerging businesses and AI+transformation, strengthen comprehensive risk management, and ensure a stable start to the "15th Five Year Plan" strategy.

Professor Kong Hainan from Shanghai Jiao Tong University delivered a speech

Professor Kong Hainan, a strategic technology expert of the group, has participated in the annual water environment conference for 10 consecutive years, providing suggestions and recommendations for the development of the group. He suggested that the group should face the new cycle of the industry with a "new path" thinking, seek new growth poles from stock optimization and technological empowerment, and establish a new benchmark for high-quality development of the industry, under the title of "Running a Horse to Circle Land and Find a New Way".

Group Chairman Hou Feng made a speech

Chairman Hou Feng pointed out that in 2025, the group will push forward with industry adjustments and firmly fulfill its original mission of "protecting green mountains and rivers".
