Beijing Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment | The Bishui Project has been selected as an excellent low-carbon technology project and typical case for the year 2025 in Beijing

Recently, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment released the excellent low-carbon technology projects and typical cases for Beijing in 2025, and announced 21 outstanding projects for advanced low-carbon technology in Beijing in 2025. The green and low-carbon transformation technology project of Beijing Bishui Submerged Reclaimed Water Plant was selected, becoming the only selected project in Tongzhou District.

The Bishui Submerged Reclaimed Water Plant achieves synergistic efficiency in reducing pollution and carbon emissions through three aspects: "carbon reduction", "carbon substitution", and "carbon sink". The project integrates multiple technologies such as water source heat pumps, reducing carbon emissions by about 2300 tons per year.

The application of this low-carbon technology not only reduces traditional energy consumption, but also improves energy utilization efficiency, providing a replicable practical model for urban sustainable development. The Bishui project has achieved 100% utilization of water resources, land resources, and green energy through dual innovation in technology and management, providing a systematic solution to solve the contradiction between water security and ecological space in mega cities.
