Ecological Guiyang | Guiyang Ecological Science Popularization Museum collaborates with the community to create a new paradigm for youth summer growth

In order to enrich the summer life of young people and actively practice the service concept of "I do practical things for the people", during this summer vacation, Guiyang Ecological Science Popularization Museum and Urban Sunshine Community worked together to create a series of summer activities called "School Holidays, Community Resumption". This event focuses on ecological science popularization and safety education, and creates a summer learning platform that combines fun, knowledge, and growth for young people in the jurisdiction through diverse interactive and entertaining methods. Ecological peers, sowing the seeds of ecological civilization

On July 18th, the "Ecological Companionship, Safety Companionship" activity was held at the Guiyang Ecological Science Popularization Museum. More than 60 people walked into the museum and followed the staff to visit the exhibition area. Through vivid exhibits and detailed explanations, they gained a deeper understanding of local ecological protection knowledge. The science museum also offers small classes to teach practical knowledge such as garbage classification in a popular way, sowing the seeds of ecological civilization in children's hearts and enhancing their awareness of ecological protection.

Open environmental facilities, magical journey of water elves

On July 25th, the "Safe 'Child' Journey, 'Benefit' Growth" activity was launched. More than 60 people walked into the Qingshan Reclaimed Water Plant of China Water Environment Group and the Guiyang Water Environment Science Popularization Museum, embarking on a cool and intelligent "journey of water regeneration". The activity combines knowledge of water resources with knowledge of drowning prevention and home safety. Through model demonstrations, scene experiences, and other methods, safety knowledge and ecological civilization concepts are infused into the mind and heart through fun interactions.

Explore the Snow Dragon and learn about the charm of polar ecology

On August 15th, National Ecology Day, Urban Sunshine Community organized more than 180 people to listen to the science popularization lecture "Voices from the Polar Regions - Xuelong Polar Expert Tour (Guiyang Station)" at the Yangming Lecture Hall of Confucius Academy in Guiyang. Polar experts use vivid storytelling and exquisite visual materials to lead children into the mysterious and unpredictable polar world, and cleverly extend daily safety knowledge such as navigation safety and cabin firefighting.

Explore the weather and empower the path of growth

On August 20th, the Urban Sunshine Community organized more than 60 residents from its jurisdiction to visit the Guiyang Meteorological Bureau to carry out the theme activity of "Meteorological Exploration+Safety Escort Dual Empowerment Growth", allowing children to explore the mysteries of meteorology while learning safety knowledge such as extreme weather prevention, further enriching summer safety and knowledge reserves.

This event successfully promoted the sinking of science popularization resources into communities, allowing ecological and safety knowledge to "fly into ordinary people's homes" in diverse forms. Guided by the needs of the masses, the community deeply integrates ecological science popularization with security protection, allowing residents in the jurisdiction to feel the care of the community and continuously improving their sense of gain, happiness, and security.
