On December 28, 2024, the Phase II project of the Maijia River Sewage Treatment Plant in Baiyun District, Guiyang, operated by China Water Environment Group, officially began water supply. The sewage treatment capacity was increased from 130,000 tons per day to 180,000 tons per day, marking a new breakthrough in the comprehensive management of the Maijia River Basin in Baiyun District, Guiyang.

Bu Lan, Secretary of the Baiyun District Committee of Guiyang, announced the official water supply of the Phase II project of the Maijia River Sewage Treatment Plant. Wu Xiangdong, Director of the Guiyang Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau, and Ban Dexun, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Guiyang Municipal Water Resources Bureau, and other government department leaders attended the water - supply ceremony.
