​The "Innovation of Sewage Resource Utilization Application in the AI Era" Beijing Association for Science and Technology held a cross-border exchange activity for young scientific and technological talents

On August 21st, guided by the Beijing Association for Science and Technology and hosted by China Water Environment Group, the cross-border exchange event "Innovation in Wastewater Resource Utilization in the AI Era" was held at the Beijing Future Design Park. More than a hundred people attended the event on site, and over 5000 people watched the online live broadcast.

Zhang Chi, a researcher of the Beijing Institute of Nanoenergy and Systems, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Wu Yifan, senior director of ByteDance Group, and Dong Xin, a professor of the School of Environment, Tsinghua University, shared the latest achievements and cutting-edge insights around "sewage treatment, environmental remediation, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things" and other disciplines.

At the "Youth Science and Technology Talk" session, 10 former Beijing Association for Science and Technology Youth Talents and Outstanding Young Engineers from various fields served as group leaders to organize discussions on the topic of "Innovative Application of Sewage Resource Utilization in the AI Era" and report on the results of the group discussions. Through on-site voting, condense the top ten key directions of artificial intelligence in sewage treatment.

After the meeting, invited experts visited the Beijing Bishui Reclaimed Water Plant of China Water Environment Group, conducted on-site inspections of the information and intelligent system of the reclaimed water plant, and discussed and exchanged ideas on the feasibility and entry points of empowering the sewage resource utilization industry with artificial intelligence and Internet of Things technology.
