The 22nd China International Environmental Protection Exhibition was held, and the Chairman of the Group, Hou Feng, was awarded the Outstanding Contribution Individual Award, while the team was awarded the Collective Award

The 22nd China International Environmental Protection Exhibition (CIEPEC 2024) and the 6th Ecological and Environmental Protection Industry Innovation and Development Conference, led by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and the Beijing Municipal People's Government, guided by government departments such as the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Ministry of Commerce, and hosted by the China Environmental Protection Industry Association, were held at the Beijing China International Exhibition Center from April 10 to 12, 2024. More than 1000 companies from 24 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government), Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Taiwan Province, and more than 10 countries participated in the exhibition. China Water Environment Group was invited to participate in the exhibition, showcasing the achievements of China's ecological environment governance practices.

General Yi Xiaoguang, member of the Standing Committee of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Deputy Director of the Population, Resources and Environment Committee, Zhao Yingmin, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and member of the Party Group, Li Qiang, Deputy Governor of Liaoning Province and member of the Party Group of the Provincial Government, Zhang Wentong, Deputy Governor of Hubei Province and Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Democratic Party of China, and Tu Ruihe, representative of the United Nations Environment Programme in China, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. Du Xiangwan, academician and former vice president of the CAE Member, Zhang Tao, academician and former vice president of the CAS Member, Wang Hongling, vice chairman of the CPPCC Hubei Provincial Committee and chairman of the Revolutionary Committee of Hubei Province, and Li Gang, deputy mayor of Shenyang Municipal People's Government of Liaoning Province and member of the Party Leadership Group of Shenyang Municipal People's Government, attended the opening ceremony. Representatives from the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the people's government of prefecture level cities, the Ecological Environment Bureau and its affiliated institutions, the directly affiliated and dispatched institutions of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, more than 40 industry associations, and central and state-owned enterprises attended the opening ceremony and visited the exhibition.

In 2024, it coincides with the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the China Environmental Protection Industry Association. The conference established the 40th anniversary achievements exhibition of the ecological and environmental protection industry, comprehensively showcasing the development process and achievements of the ecological and environmental protection industry over the past 40 years. At the same time, awards such as outstanding contributions to the development of the ecological and environmental protection industry and outstanding contributions to the development of the ecological and environmental protection industry will be presented. This award aims to reward representatives of the environmental protection industry who have completed pioneering work and made outstanding contributions to the innovative development of the ecological and environmental protection industry. It plays a role in strengthening the spiritual and cultural construction of the environmental protection industry, promoting the spirit of scientists, role models, and craftsmen in the environmental protection industry, and playing a typical guiding and exemplary role in the industry.

China Water Environment Group Appears at the 22nd China International Environmental Protection Exhibition

This exhibition has set up the "40 Year Achievement Exhibition of China's Ecological and Environmental Protection Industry", which reviews the development process of the ecological and environmental protection industry from five stages: sprouting, starting, growing, developing and strengthening, and comprehensive development. Over the past 40 years, the ecological and environmental protection industry has achieved fruitful results, with outstanding achievements in environmental protection technology in the National Science and Technology Progress Award. The distributed sinking and regeneration water ecosystem technology of China Water Environment Group, as a practical achievement of the ecological and environmental protection industry, has appeared in the water environment protection exhibition area, demonstrating the group's positive exploration results in water environment, water ecology, promoting coordinated efficiency reduction and carbon reduction, and promoting comprehensive green transformation of economic and social development.
