On December 18, 2023, the China National Intellectual Property Administration released the initial roster for the "Thousand Enterprises and Hundred Cities" trademark brand value promotion initiative. China Water Environment, the sole comprehensive water environment treatment company in Beijing, secured a spot on the list. Collaborating with renowned domestic entities such as China Mobile, BOE, Xiaomi, TikTok, and others, the company showcased the trademark value of the "Chinese brand," contributing to the advancement of the industry's high-quality development.

In April 2023, the China National Intellectual Property Administration released the Action Plan for Enhancing Trademark Brand Value of "Thousand Enterprises and Hundred Cities" (2023-2025)(G. Z. F. Y. Z [2023] No. 13). With three actions, i.e. "Enhancing Enterprise Trademark Brand Value," "Creating Regions with Trademark Brand Advantages," and "Guiding Trademark Brand Construction Services." objective is to guide and support businesses in building their trademark brand, uncovering and nurturing fresh enterprise brands, and motivating top-tier companies to establish brands that resonate on a global scale. By the end of the 14thFive-Year Plan, the objective is to steadily boost the market value and competitiveness of trademarks owned by participating enterprises. This effort is geared towards improving consumer satisfaction, amplifying the popularity of goods and services, and fostering the rise of more influential national and internationally recognized brands, all with a view to enhancing the real economy. The China National Intellectual Property Administration will extend crucial support to the selected enterprises in the pilot demonstration efforts of fortifying the nation's intellectual property rights, channeling specific policies and funds towards the promotion of intellectual property rights utilization.

This recognition serves as a reaffirmation from the China National Intellectual Property Administration and Beijing Municipal Intellectual Property Office, underscoring the Group's independent innovation capability, intellectual property strategy, and strategic planning. This piece of work predominantly uses blue in its logo, drawing inspiration from "Shared Roots" and the "Harmony of the Six Combinations." This reflects the belief that water is the source of life and signifies unity across heaven, earth, and the four directions. The ancient saying "those who know Harmony of the Six Combinations know the world" emphasizes the Group's leadership in win-win cooperation with the government and partners while harmonizing with the ecological environment. Additionally, the design integrates the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and underscores the Group's commitment to ESG principles, actively promoting sustainable development in water governance for the harmonious coexistence of humanity and nature.

In addition, the entire design is both concise and skillfully executed. The word "water," along with water waves and lotus leaf shapes, is seamlessly integrated using modern creative techniques. This integration enhances the overall design, providing a sense of completeness and richness. The negative space rendering of the word "water" aligns well with the enterprise name and industry attributes, while the incorporation of water wave and lotus leaf shapes adds a touch of flexibility to the logo.

The work showcases originality and distinct industry attributes, securing exclusive trademark rights and copyright protection from the China National Intellectual Property Administration in 2016 and the State Copyright Office in 2017, respectively.
