The 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE) took place in Shanghai on November 5. President Xi Jinping sent a letter to the CIIE. Premier Li Qiang attended the opening ceremony, delivering a keynote speech. During the event, the Fourth Industrial Revolution and Smart Mobility Forum UNIDO Global Call Award Ceremony was held. China Water Environment Group, as a new member of the Fourth Industrial Revolution Industry Alliance, joined as a member partner along with the Investment Promotion Agency of the Ministry of Commerce, the People's Government of Jinan City, the People's Government of Xiamen City, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, BOE Technology Group, and Honor Terminal Co., Ltd. Zhang Lujing, Vice President of the group, represented the company at the signing ceremony.

Sheng Qiuping, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Commerce, stated that President Xi's letter outlined the direction for continuous improvement at the CIIE. The 6th CIIE featured the Multinational Entrepreneurs Tour event, aiming to provide a platform for communication and cooperation between Chinese and foreign entrepreneurs. As Premier Li Qiang stated in his keynote speech at the CIIE opening ceremony, China sincerely hopes to move forward together with countries worldwide on the open stage, mutually achieving success.

The group places a strong emphasis on the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). With its core technological system closely aligned with several UN SDGs, it serves as a significant partner in the field of smart circular economy for UNIDO.

The group's central technological system, which centers around distributed, decentralized, and regenerated water ecological systems while highlighting "green low-carbon technology and net-zero goals," is emerging as a fresh trend and direction in urban wastewater treatment systems. In January of this year, at the UNIDO 2022 Global Call Award Ceremony, this technology stood out among 452 applications from 45 countries and regions on five continents worldwide, being selected as a global green technological innovation solution. It also provided a solution from China for countries facing water and land shortages worldwide.
