The "Efficient and Land saving Biofilm Wastewater Purification Technology Equipment" led by China Water Environment Group was successfully selected. As one of the only 18 technologies in the field of water pollution control, it has become a demonstration technology to accelerate the upgrading of green and low-carbon technologies, and help the industry's green and low-carbon transformation and high-quality development.
This directory implements the Guiding Opinions of the Central Committee for Deepening Reform on Building a Market oriented Green Technology Innovation System, promotes the transformation and industrial application of scientific and technological achievements, accelerates the upgrading of green and low-carbon technologies, and provides reference for various industrial enterprises, public welfare, private equity funds, and venture capital institutions to upgrade and transform energy conservation and emission reduction technologies.
This directory involves a total of 85 technologies in six fields, including efficient treatment and resource utilization of urban domestic sewage, refined operation of urban sewage treatment plants, rural domestic sewage treatment, industrial wastewater treatment, comprehensive water environment improvement, and 18 other technologies in the field of water pollution control.
Zhu Xuehua, Director of the Department of Science and Technology for Social Development of the Ministry of Science and Technology, said that the selected projects were widely representative. More than 800 technologies were received in the early solicitation, and 85 technologies were finally selected. The proportion of technological achievements produced by central and local scientific research projects exceeds 50%, and the selected technologies are new technologies, equipment, and products that have been industrialized and demonstrated in recent years, with good prospects for application and promotion.

The high-efficiency and land saving biofilm sewage purification technology equipment is applied in urban sewage treatment plants, especially in the construction or upgrading of sunken water plants. It has the characteristics of land saving, high efficiency, and low energy consumption. The effluent water quality can stably reach the national first-class A standard, and the main indicators can reach the surface water Class IV water standard, significantly saving more than 30% of the biochemical treatment unit space of sewage treatment plants. This technology has been applied in 16 projects, including the Jinbai Reclaimed Water Plant and the Qicai Lake Sinking Reclaimed Water Plant in Guiyang City.
