Frontline Splendor | Mianyang Project of the Group won the honorary title of "Top Ten Environment-friendly Units" in Mianyang

On June 8, 2023, the Mianyang Municipal Committee of the CPC and Mianyang Municipal People's Government issued a notification commending the entities that won the fifth honorary titles of "Top Ten Environment-friendly Units", "Top Ten Environment-friendly Pioneers" and "Top Ten Environment-friendly Figures" in Mianyang. Mianyang Xinkai Water Environment Treatment Co., Ltd. of the China Water Environment Group (hereinafter referred to as "Mianyang Company of the Group") won the honorary title of "Top Ten Environment-friendly Units". This was the second award after the company was awarded the title of "Demonstration Unit for Coordinated Development of the Four Enhanced Fields in 2022" in March this year.

Since 2020, Mianyang Company of the Group has been working on a project to improve the black and foul-smelling water in Mulong River, Fucheng District. This effort ensures the smooth discharge of sewage in the park and connects domestic sewage in nearby villages and towns. As a result, it has improved the water quality for local residents, making Mianyang Industrial Park a more appealing place for investments. The project has helped the district government to complete the comprehensive treatment of black and odorous water successfully and is currently cooperating with the Mianyang Municipal Government to declare the honorary title of demonstration sponge city.

Achievements after harnessing the upstream of the main stream of Mulong River

Mianyang Municipal Government awarded Mianyang Company the honor of "Top Ten Environment-friendly Units", which showed its praise for the achievements brought by the company. The government hoped that the project would give full play to its leading role in demonstration and make new achievements in the new era and new journey.

Mianyang is an important ecological barrier and water conservation spot in the upper stream of the Yangtze River. Mianyang Company of the Group holds on to the concept of putting ecology as its priority and seeking green development. It will continue to improve its operation and management, persistently ensuring that the effluent quality of the reclaimed water plants meets the standards of discharge, making further excellent contributions to maintaining the blue sky, green grass, and clear water in Mianyang.
