World Environment Day | Government and Enterprises Collaborate at Xi''an Yanta District Qiwang Reclaimed Water Plant to Safeguard Harmony between Humanity and Nature

On June 5th, on the occasion of the 52nd World Environment Day, the Working Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Directly Affiliated to the Yanta District of Xi'an, the Office of the Ecological and Environmental Protection Committee of Yanta District, and the Yanta Branch of the Ecological and Environmental Bureau of Xi'an held a publicity campaign at the Qiwang Reclaimed Water Plant in Xi'an Yanta District. The event aimed to guide the general public and community members to focus on environmental issues, conserve resources, and build a comprehensive action system for public participation in ecological and environmental governance. More than 40 citizens and community members, including officials from various street offices in Yanta District and the Yanta Future Industrial City Management Committee, participated in the publicity campaign.

Xiao Xijun, the Secretary of the Working Committee Directly Affiliated to the Yanta District of Xi'an, expressed gratitude for the organization of the event at the Qiwang Reclaimed Water Plant operated by China Water Environment Group. He fully acknowledged the plant's environmental protection concepts of land conservation, resource utilization, green and low-carbon practices, comprehensive services, and environmental friendliness. He hoped that the general public and community members would become advocates for environmental protection, actively engage in practical actions for environmental improvement and pollution control, and together safeguard the green Yanta District and the beautiful city of Xi'an.

Hong Ziyan, a representative of the employees at the Qiwang Reclaimed Water Plant, delivered a speech on behalf of the local enterprises, endorsing the initiative of "Building a Modernization where Humans and Nature Harmoniously Coexist". She called on the general public and community members to start from themselves, from small things, and become promoters, advocates, and practitioners of environmental protection. Together, they could contribute to building a beautiful Yanta District with clear skies, green land, and clean water, creating a better living environment.

All participants in the event visited the Yanta District Qiwang Reclaimed Water Plant, where the plant's representatives provided detailed information about the plant's background, wastewater treatment processes, technological flows, and main equipment. They also answered questions from the participants.

This World Environment Day event further inspired the interest of the general public and community members in resource conservation and environmental protection. China Water Environment Group's Qiwang Reclaimed Water Plant in Xi'an Yanta District will continue to fulfill its social responsibility, employing advanced treatment processes to consistently improve water environmental governance and bridge the gap between the general public and environmental protection. Participants expressed their commitment to actively promote and participate in environmental protection through practical actions, advocating for a green and low-carbon lifestyle, and collectively building a beautiful Xi'an with clear waters, blue skies, and a pleasant ecological environment.
