The Dali Erhai Lake Project involves managing climate change and environment challenges, supporting inclusive economic growth, and encouraging institutional and governance reforms, which are the three strategic priorities reported in the Country Partnership Strategy for China and the ADB (Asian Development Bank).
For ADB, water industry in China is one of their most important investments. CWEG has made full use of its advantages and realized the combination of WWTP construction with river governance, water recycling with land saving, and carbon reduction with energy efficiency and physical resource recovery, so as to produce more economic, environmental and social benefits in the long run.
