CWEG Awarded as the “Leading Enterprise in China’s Water & Water Environment PPPs 2017” at the 16th Water Sector Strategic Forum 2018
2018-04-03 On April 2-3, 2018, the 16th Water Sector Strategic Forum 2018 sponsored by the E20 Environment Platform was held in Beijing Friendship Hotel. CWEG was invited to attended and awarded as the“Leading Enterprise in China’s Water & Water Environment PPPs 2017”.
Themed “Pushing the Reform Through - 20 Years of Water Industry Development Connected to an Ecological Future”, the forum analyzed the status quo of China’s water environment management industry under the industrial ecology and industry-finance ecosystem, and explored ways for systematic water sector innovation. More than 1000 representatives from industry-leading enterprises, listed environmental protection companies, excellent financial institutions, research institutions and government bodies, and those interested in the water industry, attended the forum. Several experts and leaders from the Development Research Center of the State Council, the Policy Research Center for Environment and Economy (PRCEE) of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, and the China Academy of Urban Planning and Design delivered keynote speeches around policy trends, interpreting the development policies of environmental industry in the new era.
CWEG Vice President Fang Yong participated in the keynote discussion of “PPP practices and explorations: from Environmental Protection to Ecological Protection” as a guest and shared successful PPP practices of CWEG.
The forum also staged the 15th Excellent Water Sector Enterprises Award Ceremony 2017”, and CWEG was awarded as the “Leading Enterprise in China’s Water & Water Environment PPPs 2017”.
