CWEG Won the First Prize of the 2018 Huaxia Construction Industry Science & Technology Award

        On January 16, the National Office for Science & Technology Awards and the Standard and Quota Department of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development jointly issued a notice revealing projects that won the “2018 Huaxia Construction Industry Science and Technology Award”. A total of 141 projects were honored with this Award in 2018, including 21 first prizes, 44 second prizes and 76 third prizes.  

         The project of “Key Technology and Equipment for Ecological Improvement and Restoration of Heavily Polluted Urban Water Bodies” jointly submitted by CWEG, Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences and other institutions won the first prize. This is also the first ministerial-level prize that CWEG has won so far. The project has been successfully deployed in CWEG""s Fuzhou Jianshan District Water Environment Management PPP Project and Guiyang Baiyun District Maijia River watershed Water Environment Management PPP Project.

         As a professional water environment management platform under SDIC and a leader in China""s water environment sector, CWEG is equipped with an experienced R&D management team and robust technology R&D strengths. The fact that CWEG’s project won this Award indicates that its endeavors in technology innovation and R&D industrialization have been fully recognized.
