Three Improvements and Higher Quality and Efficiency — 2019 CWEG Annual Conference Concludes

    On January 10 and 11, 2020, the 2019 CWEG Annual Conference was held at SDIC to summarize the work in 2019 and specify priorities in 2020.
    Du Wenmin, member of the Leading Party Members’ Group  Cui Hongqin, General Manager of SDIC Rongshi International Holding Co. Ltd., Qiu Xiangdong, Deputy General Manager of SDIC Biotech, Wang Ying, Deputy Director of SDIC Strategic Development Department, He Yongbin, Managing Director of CITIC Private Equity Funds Management Co., Ltd., Bai Jin, Director of CITIC Private Equity Funds Management Co., Ltd., Kong Hainan, professor at Shanghai Jiaotong University, and representatives of CWEG partners in various regions attended the annual meeting. More than 130 people from CWEG attended the meeting, including CWEG Chairman Hou Feng, all senior executives, heads of headquarters departments and regional companies, as well as representatives of excellent employees and teams. The rest of CWEG participated in the conference online.

    SDIC Vice President Du Wenmin in his opening speech specified expectations on CWEG, including, first, understanding and implementing the spirit of 2020 SDIC Annual Conference, and second, pulling together to accomplish priorities in 2020, in a bid to push CWEG to a new high.

    CWEG Chairman Hou Feng pointed out that given current situation and opportunities, CWEG should continue to explore business models and technological innovation, and develop the ability and approach to turn ecological benefits into economic benefits. 

    CWEG Vice President Chen Ming made the “2019 Work Report”. The report reviews achievements in 2019 from different aspects, analyzes the current situation, and specifies priorities in 2020.
    Professor Kong Hainan in his speech encouraged CWEG to seize the opportunity of industrial upgrading, improve strategic vision, optimize strategic plan, and execute strategic tasks.
    At the conference, awards for excellent teams managers and employees in 2019 were announced. Representatives of excellent employees shared their work experience, methods and experience in the past year, and were awarded by CWEG leaders.
    On January 11, focusing on the goal of “Three Improvements and Higher Quality and Efficiency”, Vice President Chen Ming made a report on management improvements, Vice President Shao Yanqing reported about performance assessment in 2020; Vice President Fang Yong introduced CEWG’s transformation and development; Vice President Mo Haiping outlined regional management; Vice President Zhang Lujing analyzed brand building and strategies. These reports interpret the development plan of CWEG from different aspects.  
    Chang Yingfu, General Manager of Xiyuan Environmental Protection Engineering (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Pang Hongtao, Executive Director of CWEG Engineering Technology Center, Zhang Qi, Chairman of Daring Smart City Technology Development Co., Ltd., and Xu Xi, Deputy General Manager of Daring Smart City Digital Center, gave speeches on how to implement the “Three Improvements” goal. Su Shanmin from Zhangzhou Jiaomei subsidiary, Gao Lin from Guizhou subsidiary, Meng Jianwei from Yunnan Dali subsidiary, and Chu Wuyue from East China subsidiary shared “Three Improvements” practices in their regions based on performance in 2019 and their reflections.
    Chairman Hou Feng concluded the conference and imposed requirements on the implementation of conference spirit. At the end of the conference, Vice Presidents Chen Ming and Shao Yanqing signed the “Statement of Responsibility for Integrity” and “Statement of Responsibility for Performance in 2020” on behalf of CWEG and regional subsidiaries.
    At 5 pm, the 2019 CWEG Annual Conference ended successfully. The conference called for joint efforts to promote the high-quality development of CWEG, thus making greater contributions to the creation of a greener China.
