Demonstration of Green Treatment of Industrial Wastewater - Jiaomei City Reclaimed Water Plant in Zhangzhou, Fujian Province

Project Overview

Zhangzhou Taiwan Business Investment Zone is a national level Taiwan business investment zone established in 2012 with the approval of the State Council. This project combines the needs of industrial and living collaborative treatment, significantly improving the regional water environment quality. The water quality of the nationally controlled section at the mouth of the Jiulong River has stabilized to Class III, and the water quality of more than 40 inland rivers has been improved to Class V or above. It provides a replicable comprehensive solution and engineering model for sewage treatment in similar industrial clusters.

Project Advantages

1. The largest fully submerged reclaimed water plant in Fujian Province, with a treatment capacity of 100000 tons/day, is a provincial key sewage treatment project and a municipal key livelihood project.

2. High proportion of industrial wastewater (industrial water accounts for 50% -60%) is co treated with domestic sewage.

3. Municipal miscellaneous use and enterprise water sludge resource utilization promote green and circular development.
