The First Photovoltaic Demonstration Project in the Field of Water Management in the Urban Sub Center - Beijing Hedong Resource Recycling Center

Project Overview

The Beijing Urban Sub center has been put into operation as the largest resource recycling center, with a processing capacity of 60000 tons per day, a service area of approximately 20.14 square kilometers, and a service population of approximately 210000 people. As a major demonstration project to promote the construction of national green development demonstration zones, the "three in one" model of "recycled water plant+sludge disposal+energy recovery" comprehensively covers the demand for sewage treatment, recycled water utilization, and sludge treatment in the eastern part of the sub center.

Project Advantages

1. Promote the water industry to move from the "pollution control end" to "energy output" and upgrade the value of environmental protection facilities.

2. Zero new construction land, activate idle space, achieve efficient composite utilization of land resources, and effectively enhance regional land value.

3. The first fully underground regenerated water plant demonstration of "photovoltaic+water management" in the sub center. After the project is connected to the grid, the average annual power generation is about 1.3 million kilowatt hours,equivalent to reducing carbon emissions by approximately 1108 tons per year, meeting 15% of the electricity demand of the water plant.
