Innovative technology Initiator of a Major 13th Five-Year Scientific Research Project Entitled “Innovation of Underground WWTP Construction and Demonstration of Ecological Complex”

On April 7, 2017, Huang Runqiu, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, investigated the major 13th Five-Year scientific research project entitled “Innovation of Underground WWTP Construction and Demonstration of Ecological Complex” initiated by CWEG. He spoke highly of the Bishui Project located in Beijing’s subcenter Tongzhou for its overall planning, underground structure, advanced technology and innovative concept, urging CWEG to apply forward-looking technologies to water environment management projects on the basis of the scientific research project, and beef up the industrialization of innovative technologies to drive China’s wastewater treatment industry towards sustainable development.
